Meet Dr. David & Terri Sumlin
The Sumlins founded Marriage Life Ministries in 2012 as a means of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through the vessel of marriage and family ministry. As a result, they have the privilege of helping countless couples around the world embrace God's design for marital oneness and experience a marriage beyond anything that they could ever possibly imagine.
David and Terri's unique approach to marital education is built upon some of the advances found in neuroscience, psychology, physiology, and adventure-based therapy, which ultimately is tested through the lens of God’s word for validation. The result is an Adventure-Based Marital Enrichment program that helps couples derive behavioral transformation and sustained learning. While traditional therapeutic approaches tend to yield low to moderate success in terms of marital outcomes, couples who participate in marital adventure programs are 84% more likely to report having sustained levels of increased marital satisfaction long after the program has ended.
